Harbour Town Lighthouse

The Harbour Town Lighthouse also boasts two gift shops. One is an exclusive dealer for Pandora charms and Crystal World products, and the other features memorabilia from the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. The lighthouse is home to a number of historical relics, including artifacts from the 3000 to 5000 bc period and Civil War photos. The lighthouse is 90 feet tall and has 144 steps to the top. The view from the top is impressive and includes great views of the surrounding area.

Harbour Town’s casual outdoor cafes are also great spots to sit and relax. There are also a number of shops to explore, including specialty gifts, jewelry and clothing stores. There are even a few one-of-a-kind art galleries. There are a number of family-friendly attractions in the area, including the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, Chippewa Square, and Morrell Park. The area is also dog-friendly.
Harbour Town Golf Links is an 18-hole course that borders open water and Palmettos, and is considered the most highly regarded golf course on the East Coast. It is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys golfing, and it is the site of South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event. The course was designed by Pete Dye.
The Harbour Town Lighthouse has been a fixture on Hilton Head for more than 50 years. It was originally a rotating spotlight, but the tower has since been upgraded with a Fresnel lens. The tower features a museum-like setting with historical information and artwork, as well as a store with air conditioning. The lighthouse is open to the public from 10 am to sundown on weekdays, and from 10 am to sunset on weekends. The Harbour Town Lighthouse is located within the Sea Pines resort community. There are a number of other attractions to explore, including the Harbour Town Lighthouse Museum, which is a collection of artifacts and relics from the island’s past. You can even take a self-guided Legends Tour. There is also a playground near the lighthouse.
